The Kotte Municipal Council (MC) which gave permission for the use of a ground to the JVP to hold its maiden rally in support of Gen. Fonseka’s candidacy for Presidency was suddenly withdrawn by the Council to the immense inconvenience and embarrassment of the Organizers.
The public rally which was scheduled for November 30th was to protest against dictatorship, nepotism and power greed.
